Storytime at the local library

Updated: Jan 15, 2020

I don't know if you are all as interested in reading as a family as we are. We read A LOT. We read before bedtime, during the day, during lunch, on the road (what else are you supposed to do for hours on end), on the train (I know, not a lot of train riding, but still), while we wait for a meal....and once, when the kids were small, I read to them while we waiting in line for a ride at Sea World. Yeah, I know, a little odd, but then again, what else were we to do ;)

Anyway, while my voice is beautiful ;) I appreciate it when someone else reads! In that case I turn to podcasts (and I can share my favorite later), the Space program from Space is also different, and even story time at the local library.

The El Toro Public Library (and others) have both English and Spanish bilingual story time. They read 3-4 books, sing songs and always end with an activity. I love love love the 1 hour exposure of entertainment with like minded interested people. We are frequent flyers at this particular branch because they have a healthy selection of books in Spanish. They are constantly adding to it too. Of course, anything they don't have we can place on hold, now for FREE!!
