There is no one way or right way to incorporate 1, 2 or more languages into your life so take your time learning, learning, and adjusting until it feels just right. You will know when it is right because your family will be happy and not pressured.
1. Pick a style:
Your styleThere are many books that explain how you should start on being bi-lingual. The problem is that they are all very generic, so unless you fit exactly into a category, it won't be right for you. My recommendation 1) Assess the extent of your exposure, 2) the community/support around you, and 3) your ability to adhere to your selected method
2. Commit to it
Commit to whatever method works for you (or change it when it no longer fits your family). This is a process so there will be ups and down.
3. Plan for your style
It is important to plan for your journey by sharing your goal with others. It helps to keep your committed...accountability sort of thing :)
4. Live your style
Don't think about it anymore! Now just live...improvise, leverage your lifestyle, your experiences, your adventures to immerse in your bi-lingual journey. Good luck!
